The simple story of an Italian immigrant who came to work in England and stayed!!

1. My name is Tony Giaquinto.  I was born in Bucciano Italy in September 1944 and emigrated to England in 1965.  I now live in Bedford,Bedfordshire which is located about 50 miles north of London
2. I came to England to find work  and also because I loved the language, the music and its lifestyle.  Although I only planned to stay here a few years,  as most of my compatriots,  I soon realised I was going to stay much longer.  Now I find I have spent most of my life here  with no regrets!
3. However, at times I miss  my family. Specially In this period, April 2006 , because my mother is not well and I can't be with her as much as I would love to. 
4. Sadly my dear Mother passed away on the 9th of May 2006. 
5. Life will never be the same !

However, life goes on regardless!
